I read all four of those novels, and when I finished, I thought I was saying goodbye to the characters I loved, characters crafted with such care and depth that they seemed like real people. Thankfully, they’re back in Siri, The Hunt I! Imagine my surprise and joy when I started reading it! I don’t want to give any spoilers. You need to know these are worth buying/reading, though! You’ll laugh and cry, and you won’t be able to put them down. So, I suggest you plan ahead and devise an excuse to skip school or call in sick from work the day after you download it or purchase it in print because you’ll be up all night finishing this read! “I have been delighted with every L. Hagensen novel. And Her Eyes Were Blue surpassed my expectations. Her prose is smooth and beautifully written. From the start, my hazel eyes were glued to the pages. The introduction is intense, followed by the story backing up and showing why and how the main character ends up in a perilous situation. Then the worldbuilding grew with fascinating characters...characters as mysterious as the legend driving the plot. This was a wonderful story that played like a movie in my mind. I love books that introduce me to other cultures. Hagensen is really, really great in that respect. I literally read this book in less than 24 hours. It was well worth missing sleep for.
