Lisa Hågensen was born and raised in Ljungskile, where she still lives with her husband and dogs, Molly and Maisie. Her childhood was filled with football, skiing, boating holidays and family gatherings at her grandmother’s house, but also with books and stories.
After working as a welder, economist, careers counsellor and teacher, studying at university and college, and raising horses, she finally pursued her lifelong dream of becoming an author. She wrote And Her Eyes Were Blue, which has since been published in Sweden, Denmark, France and Poland. After And Her Eyes Were Blue, she wrote Ghosts, Crooks and a Trapper Called Gus and then things just kept rolling.
Many of Lisa’s books have been translated into English and are available through Amazon, Bookmundo and online bookstores in Europe and the USA.
